Administrator Position Overview
The Administrator role at aRoboticsCo is multifaceted and primarily involves accounting and operations
management duties.
The Administrator will be responsible for inventory management and scheduling. Procurement is a moderate
part of this role and the administrator will help engineers find vendors for raw materials and robotic
components. They will also proactively predict material and consumable needs and ensure that there is
sufficient inventory for operations; although an engineering background is not required for this role,
the Administrator will need to learn about the basics of robotics fabrication from our engineers to
effectively assist them in this capacity.
Additionally, the administrator will keep track of project deadlines and meeting schedules as well as
assist with deliverable paperwork. The administrator will help coordinate engineering efforts across
projects to avoid work duplication. As such, documentation, workflow planning, and budgeting are
important supporting tasks.
Approximately 20% of the Administrator's time will go towards reviewing company bank and credit accounts
to ensure compliance with company policies. They will pay bills, run payroll, and administer benefits.
Most of this work will be done in QuickBooks Online. They will review contracts, issue invoices, and
deposit checks.
