Administrator Position Overview

The Administrator role at aRoboticsCo is multifaceted and primarily involves accounting and operations management duties.

The Administrator will be responsible for inventory management and scheduling. Procurement is a moderate part of this role and the administrator will help engineers find vendors for raw materials and robotic components. They will also proactively predict material and consumable needs and ensure that there is sufficient inventory for operations; although an engineering background is not required for this role, the Administrator will need to learn about the basics of robotics fabrication from our engineers to effectively assist them in this capacity.

Additionally, the administrator will keep track of project deadlines and meeting schedules as well as assist with deliverable paperwork. The administrator will help coordinate engineering efforts across projects to avoid work duplication. As such, documentation, workflow planning, and budgeting are important supporting tasks.

Approximately 20% of the Administrator's time will go towards reviewing company bank and credit accounts to ensure compliance with company policies. They will pay bills, run payroll, and administer benefits. Most of this work will be done in QuickBooks Online. They will review contracts, issue invoices, and deposit checks.

Requirements

This role does not require a 4-year degree or engineering background. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and organized. This is a relatively independent role and requires strong self-management skills and memory. The hours for this role are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays. This is a fully in-person role.

Salary

Total annual compensation is at least $65,000 for those with minimal relevant experience. Experienced individuals should apply to this same posting and will be offered a higher salary if hired. Compensation is set as 80% fixed base and 20% as quarterly bonuses.

Benefits

Employees are given 12 paid days off per year of their choice and 25 days off that are set at the beginning of the year. They additionally get 10 paid sick days. After one month of employment, you have access to our United Oxford Health Plan (Platinum tier) which is 80% paid for by the company. You also have access to a company-paid HRA. There is a vision and dental plan as well as a 401k plan.
